Questions about editing
How do I open my resume to edit it?
When we deliver your resume we send you a private link. You can also open it at potatoresume.com/edit/ followed by the 10-digit mobile number you ordered with: we email a 6-digit code to your order address, and you enter it to open your resume. Keep your private link to yourself.
What can I change?
Every word: headline, profile, skills, each job and bullet, education, and any new section such as certifications or awards. You can reorder or hide sections, switch between our designs, change colours, typeface, text size and spacing, and see the result on a live preview as you type. Your name, phone, email, LinkedIn and website are locked so the resume stays yours; WhatsApp us to change them.
How long does the edit link stay open?
On the ₹99 plan you can edit for 24 hours from the first time you open it; after that you can still view and download your resume as last saved. On the ₹299, ₹599 and ₹999 plans editing stays open. On any plan you can buy lifetime access for ₹2,999, one-time (less during our festive sales), and keep editing for every future job.
Will my edited resume still fit the page?
The page shows roughly where each page breaks while you type, and "Check exact PDF" makes the real file so you can see it before you download. If we fitted your resume to one page, the PDF keeps it on one page by adjusting the text size slightly.
Do the PDFs work with job portals and ATS?
Yes. The PDF carries real, selectable text with all fonts embedded, so it looks the same on WhatsApp, email and any phone, and applicant tracking systems can read every word.
Can I make a resume for a friend on my link?
